Zoomwooz. A live cinema performance.

A hive of desperate souls clamouring for a scrap of nothing, brains vacated of themselves, lost in other people’s time. Forgotten dreams, desires mislaid in the collective memory, embraces, caresses, shouts, a dog barking and the whisper of a kiss brushing against your insides.

We use ‘Live cinema’ techniques to speak about the place of the individual within an ever-changing systemic whole that we call society. About its memory, its dreams, its frustrations and the weaknesses that make the games of power possible.

One of those unclassifiable works that open up spaces for reflection and demonstrate the strength and capacity of the performing arts.

The live-cinema performance zoomwooz is wonderfully childlike, naïve, playful, intelligent and poetic.
