La mano en el frasco en la caja en el tren

Anselmo, an anonymous civil servant, is invited by his boss on a pleasure trip, a hunt in some paradisal spot. On the way, Anselmo discovers that the quarry is a woman. Will he turn back? Will Kapusta, his boss, talk him into seeing his desires through? Who is the mysterious woman?

These and many other questions are resolved at breakneck speed in a production built with the most innovative techniques technology had to offer: computer-generated imagery, spectacular holographic projections and the most modern lighting and sound systems.

Pedro Sedlinsky’s text won the 1997 Premio de Teatro Buero Vallejo Ciudad de Guadalajara.

The dim light, reddish in tone, filtered through the gauze that covers the proscenium arch, and the monotonous, hammering purr of the train create that atmosphere of mystery and unreality which pervades the whole stage and wraps the occupants of the dining car in a dense spider’s web.

The direction is rigorous and extremely meticulous.
