zoomwooz in the daily Kaleva

On 21 January 2015 zoomwooz performed at the Oulu Theatre Festival for Young Audiences, in Finland. Kaleva, Oulu’s daily newspaper, devoted two pieces to it: an interview by Eeva Kauppinen, published on the day of the performance, and the following day a review by Pirjo Suvilehto under the headline «Näkemisen ja kuulemisen arvoinen kokemus» — an experience worth seeing and hearing.

The ideas are full of contrast and shadow, and the viewer never knows what is waiting round the corner. […] The splendid opening burst, achieved through the means of shadow theatre, and the sound effects, moving smoothly between the speakers set around the room, are what begin to carry the audience along. The combination of image and sound is effective.
