The mirrors the author sets up to reflect the plot being woven around us are made with the very technological tools that Artificial Intelligence itself uses: real voices distorted, invented images, people who do not exist, and impossible landscapes that we nonetheless see as real on the various screens where Beladiez’s images are projected.

What makes Beladiez’s visual proposal so interesting is that he sets out this thoroughly topical question neither through the sensationalism of the media nor through dystopian fiction, but in a register of distance and self-observation: the face of Artificial Intelligence that speaks to us is a mirror reflecting what we ourselves have created.

A kind of non-theatre of self-reflection that goes far beyond mere entertainment and ventures into geographies still unknown to us.
