Directing classes. Centro del Títere

Through the 2023-2024 academic year I will be teaching stage direction at the Centro del Títere, within the Specialist Diploma in Performing Arts, in the discipline of Puppet and Object Theatre.

The course is a theoretical and practical introduction to stage direction and dramaturgy focused on object and puppet theatre, placing particular emphasis on the individual characteristics and needs of the students, with the aim of offering different narrative, conceptual and creative tools and resources. Particular attention will be paid to the search for the means that strengthen the work of the actor-manipulator as an artist and demiurge of their own personal creative universe, as well as to research into contemporary languages grounded in the exploration and interaction of the different synergies that arise when working with multidisciplinary concepts, both conventional and unconventional.
